How this site makes money

Affiliate links

We do not currently use affiliate links. If that changes, this page will be updated before the first link goes live, and every affected review will carry a notice at the top.

Sponsorship and gifted products

We do not accept payment for reviews, rankings or coverage. Where a manufacturer sends a product unsolicited, it is returned or disclosed by name inside the review. No company sees a review before publication, and none has approval over what we write.

Who writes here

Pieces are written by parents using the things they write about. Where a writer has a connection to a brand in any form — former employment, family, a free sample — it is stated in the piece itself, not only here.

Your data

We ask for an email address only if you choose to sign up, and we use it only to send what you signed up for. We do not sell, rent or share the list. Messages sent through the contact form reach us by email and are not added to any mailing list.

Not medical advice

Everything here is practical information about products and routines. It is not medical advice and it is not a substitute for your paediatrician, midwife or health visitor. For anything concerning your child's health or your own, please speak to a clinician who knows your situation.

Corrections

Corrections appear at the top of the affected piece, dated. If you think something here is wrong, tell us and we will check it.
